CULTURAL INSPIRATION: Wailing and chanting immediately after the death of a man is depicted in this bark painting. The man’s body lies in the center. Surrounding the body are two clapstick men and a didgeridoo player. The two trees are white plum trees. Food for the musicians consists of wallaby (a macropod –Macropus agilis), which is also portrayed. This is from the Djinang clan.
